ANNUAL DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE UNDER CALIFORNIA HEALTH & SAFETY CODE, §§ 119400-119402
Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics has adopted a Comprehensive Compliance Program where written Corporate Standards align with the OIG publication “Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers,” as well as the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) “Code on Interactions with Health Care Professionals”.
As part of its ongoing commitment to operate in an ethical and compliant manner, Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics continually refines, develops, reassesses and evaluates its Corporate Compliance Program, making changes as necessary to improve it.
As required by California Health & Safety Code section 119402, Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics has established an annual, aggregate dollar limit of $3,000 per California Healthcare Professional per calendar year which applies to meals outside of consulting agreements, educational items, promotional materials, and other items of value. This limit does not apply to product samples, funding for continuing medical education or research, financial support for health educational scholarships, or fair market value payments for consulting/speaking engagements.
To the best of our knowledge, Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics is in compliance with both its Comprehensive Compliance Program and the California Health and Safety Code 119400-119402.
